Your ego doesn’t care if you’re successful.

Only that it’s proven right.

Regardless of the outcome.

Your deeply held subconscious belief could be “I’m worthy and deserving of love.”

And your ego will go above and beyond to prove that belief right.

Your relationships will thrive, your work will fulfill you, and you’ll naturally gravitate toward opportunities that confirm your worth.

But this works both ways.

If your parents treated you like an afterthought, routinely criticized you or even used you as a bargaining chip against the other parent, what’s that internal belief going to be?

It probably won’t be good.

Again, as a result, your mind will do whatever it can to prove that hidden belief right.

Your relationships will suck, you’ll settle for toxic patterns, or you may struggle to even find relationships.

Audit your beliefs. Audit every corner of your life and find out what your beliefs are.
