Anger isn’t bad or good. It’s neutral like all of your emotions. But it’s not necessarily a place you want to be in long-term if you hope to feel more at peace or “enlightened”.

It’s an emotion many are quick to condemn or criticize —even those with just as much anger.

But the point isn’t to philosophize on anger in this story.

If it’s affecting your life negatively, you cannot talk your way out of it. You can try to manage your anger by going for a walk through mindfulness, but you’re more or less only managing the symptoms of something far deeper.

Grief. Sadness. Pain.

These emotions are even lower in vibration. The lower your “vibration”, the more suffering you experience.

This is why if you ever hear spiritual “gurus” say things like “If you want to manifest your desires you need to raise your vibration!”

They’re telling you to let go. Let go of what’s holding you back. It won’t magically erase trauma, nor will you instantly become wealthy or find your dream partner, but it allows you to be free enough that the constraints of the weight of negativity do not hold you down.

I have noticed myself feeling more agitated, annoyed, or frustrated in the last week or so. Little inconveniences will trigger my anger and my patience has been thin lately.
